Procedure for Rain Cancellations

There is always the possibility of having to cancel a ride due to rain. Even though the odds go up during Winter, it can happen any time of year. We will not start a ride in the rain but there is also the possibility of being rained on during or on the way back from a ride. It is a good idea to carry rain gear with you during the rainy season, just in case. Even the inexpensive sets you can buy at K-Mart and Wal-Mart for around $10.00 are small and compact but do the trick if you get caught in an unexpected down pour.

We do monitor the weather reports leading up to our rides, but as you know they change from day to day. They just aren't that reliable.

If a ride is cancelled because of rain, we will reschedule it. We will notify you by e-mail, website or phone if there is.
