November 7th Chapter Brunch, Officer Nominations & Short ride to follow WEATHER PERMITTING

Come join us for a very important Chapter Meeting. We want to get a jump on next year so please bring the Ride/Event Suggestion forms I emailed so we can talk about where you want to ride in addition to non riding events you would like to have for next year. In addition, we will be discussing any changes we have made or that you may want from our rides, routine and/or chapter bylaws. We will hold Nominations and have a Short Ride, weather permitting. Finally we will have a raffle once again for a free brunch provided by the chapter to the winner.

November 21st Coats for Kids Run

Have you ever wondered how children living on the street during the winter survive the cold? Well STAR Chapter 153 asked that question and the answer resulted in our desire to take up a collection of jackets and coats for kids. Our donations will go to Mustard Seed, a school for kids ages 3-15, living on the streets with their families. Their parents are doing their best to find housing and jobs, but in this economy more people are going on the streets then getting off them.

This event is being held on Saturday, November 21, 2009, 9:00AM to 11:30AM. The premise is that each chapter will bring their contributions to one of three of our supporting dealerships. There will be refreshments at the dealerships, but then there will be a ride* leaving each of the dealerships at 11:30 and coming together at Steve’s Pizza Place for a no host pizza party. Collections boxes will be at the dealerships starting on October 24, 2009. On Monday, November 23rd STAR 153 will take the items to Mustard Seed for distribution.
