July 3rd HolliSTAR Multi-Chapter Ride/Event

HolliSTAR 2010 is on!!! Come join us for a day of fun in the town where it all began, Hollister!!

For 2010 our event is back and better than ever this year featuring the "No Mercy Band"!!  We have a great Mexican lunch planned with 2 meats, rice, beans, tortillas, salad and a drink. 

Commemorative patch to the first 150 pre-registrants!!
$20 Pre-registration before June 14th
$25 on site registration

There will be a ride in from the meeting point and the arrival of the pack at Vista Park Hill kicks off the event.
Meet: 10 am  McDonald's Cochrane Rd exit off 101 Hwy in Morgan Hill, CA
KSU: 10:30 am

For those interested in participating in the large ride in, there will probably be the same ride in as years past.

Ride Meeting: 8:00AM - Alcosta Blvd Starbucks, San Ramon

Ride Start : 8:45AM Sharp (otherwise you'll have to ride to Morgan Hill meeting spot on your own)

July 17th General Chapter Event and Sat Short Ride

Come join us for a short ride to the Steinhart Aquarium in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.  From Starbucks on Jackson in Hayward, we will cross the San Mateo Bridge en route to Hwy. 280.  Once at 280, we will travel South to Hwy. 84 (Woodside Road) and head West to Alice's Restaurant for a short break. From Alice's, we will go South on Hwy. 35 to Alpine Road.  After some fun curves, we will re-join Hwy. 84 and head West to Hwy. 1.  From Hwy 1 it is up the coast to San Francisco and Golden Gate Park.
(NOTE: There is no organized return.  Once at the Aquarium you can stay as long, or short, as you want so you can enjoy the day. We are also encouraging you to come whether you are going to ride or not and to bring family & or friends. This is a family event with a ride for those who would like to ride first.)

On the pre-ride, sunny warm weather was enjoyed in Hayward, while once on Hwy. 1, we were in cool conditions.  Please prepare for all weather types.  Also, I might suggest bringing comfortable shoes to change into while you walk the Aquarium.  There is a restaurant and other food services on site, although, the surrounding grounds would be ideal for a picnic lunch...

This is one of my favorite STAR DAYS locations. We know you will like your stay and have fun. We have some great riding in store for you. Chattanooga is a family city with lots to do, and is known for its history, charm, eateries and transportation. You can go anywhere in town on the free electric shuttle buses and the main bus station is next to the Choo Choo hotel where STAR DAYS is being held. The kids will love the aquarium, the ride in the Amphibious Duck Boats, Riverwalk, Lookout Mountain, Tow Truck Museum and much more, not to mention the kid's events at STAR DAYS.
