July 1st Chapter Ride

The city fathers of Hollister are not holding a rally this year, so we have decided to rain down upon Monterey Bay Chapter President, Bob Gatto's home in Hollister for a BBQ, with his blessings and encouragement. Last year several chapters managed to get together to ride into Hollister as a group and it was an awesome site having over 75 bikes in a pack.

 

We plan to do the same sort of thing this year, which is why the ride start is so late in the morning. Sacramento, Vacaville & Contra Costa will meet us in San Ramon and we will ride to Morgan Hill to hook up with other multi-chapter groups to build the pack.

 

To have the proper amount of food available for the bbq, I would like to have a headcount of those planning to attend so I can pass it along, please.

This is a non- chapter event  run by the Oakland Motorcycle Club, attended by many of us over the years and the info is provided for those interested.

If you go, look for former STAR Miles Goodman, who is now in their ranks. He'll be the tall one....

July 12th General Chapter Meeting

This is our quarterly sit down to pass along info from above, solicit ideas for ride destinations and vote in new members. We will hold a 50/50 raffle and go over our schedule for the remainder of the year. This is an ideal time for new folks to come meet us and see what we're all about.

July 27th to 30th Star Days Longmont, Colorado

This is our big National rally, held this year about 30 miles north of Denver at the gates of Rocky Mountain National Park.

I'm guessing I don't have to describe the scenic rides, huh?
