December 1st Election Brunch and Short Ride (weather permitting)?

Ed Carreno (Prez) and Mauricio Flores (VP) are standing for election. Dave Kelch, Dan Hughes & Chris & Maria Murphy are eligible for Chapter membership votes and others are coming & going. This will be a good opportunity to see meet & greet friends, past and present. It's also a good time to fill out new Ride Waivers for '08.

The menu is a brunch buffet - $12 per person, including tip. Food items include Scrambled Eggs, Quiche Lorraine, Potatoes, Sausage, Juices, Muffins & Croissants, Coffee & Tea.

December 8th FTC Food Drop - Modesto

Meeting: 9:00 AM Modesto

Yamaha of Modesto 1302 9th St (Rain or Shine)

This is a true feel good event!
If the weather is dry I'm riding. Dawn has more sense and will probably follow in the Jeep.

Feed The Children is STAR's national charity of choice and we have donated enough money to the cause to get a food drop here in NorCal. We will escort a big rig full of food and help with it's distribution to needy families. I encourage you to attend, by bike, by car, any way you can. Dawn, Mauricio & I participated in a food drop during Star Days in Longmont, CO this summer and the escorting pack of 405 bikes literally stopped traffic in Longmont. There is no cost to attend, the funds have already been donated.

December 15th New Officers Meeting

In with the NEW and out with the OLD (well it's more like a shuffling of roles. As part of the transition to the new administration, the officers meetings will move to a weekend day to allow all incoming officers to attend. This first meeting will be @ Marie Calenders in Hayward. All old officers and new officers are to attend. Standard Marie Calendar's brunch.

December 16th Possible Xmas Party or Xmas Light Ride
